From Striving to Thriving (online)

Lea Tran

October 19, 2022

This program has been RESCHEDULED from Sept. 28 to OCTOBER 19, because Lea lives in Florida where Hurricane Ian was predicted to hit on the original date.

As a Vietnam war survivor and “boat person” in the early 1980’s, Lea Tran has learned how to turn adversity into opportunity by courageously creating change to propel her life.  She has used this skill set time after time under Communist oppression, in the refugee camps and while building a new life here in America.

Forty years after coming to America, Lea is ready to share in-depth how her own life lessons could help and benefit others to go beyond surviving to a thriving place.  Her faith in God has helped her amend her past, dig deep into her roots and let her story be free; only now has she able to find peace.

Lea will talk about her book, I Did Not Miss the Boat: A Memoir of a Vietnamese Hoa RefugeeLearn from Lea how to move from a surviving position to a thriving place.  Gain tools that can help you cope with change in uncertain times.
