Lea Tran started her humble life in America as a “boat” person” refugee in 1980. Her parents as well as her own experiences escaping Vietnam have taught her to transform adversity into opportunity, trauma into triumph. She renewed her faith and learned to rebuild her life from the harrowing journey. Now she is offering a message of hope and resilience to elevate her audience and inspire them to embrace their life purpose, personally and professionally.
Lea graduated from Villanova University with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. After a career as a scientist, she became a successful entrepreneur and business owner in the Greater Philadelphia Region, which she called home for thirty-five years. Recently, Lea has been a TEDx speaker and published her autobiography, I Did Not Miss the Boat- Memoir of A Vietnam Hoa Refugee. She currently resides in Florida with her husband.
