The Beloved Community: Now… Here… Me
Maria DiBello, RSM
January 19, 2022
The Beloved Community envisioned by Jesus and Martin Luther King is present here, in the neighborhoods and homes where we live. It is present now, in this moment, both dark-shadowed and bathed in light. Most especially, it is present in the discovery that the name given to each of us is “Beloved.” Through prayer, music and sharing, this morning of reflection will draw us into the joy and power of that discovery. We will strengthen one another to embrace the creative, redemptive and non-violent love that builds the Beloved Community in our midst.
