As we journey through this season of hope, we will rest in the image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, broken in love within our graced, suffering world.  We will explore fresh insights into this beautiful devotion, drawn from Francis, from Catherine McAuley, Pedro Arrupe, SJ, and Teilhard de Chardin SJ.  Words of Scripture, poets and mystics, as well as, images from our suffering world will weave our reflections.

The morning will provide quiet time to open our own hearts to Jesus’ tender mercy, and to share the abiding hope we hold together in these challenging times.  In the afternoon, we will turn to the spiritual wounds that cry out for mercy today…knowing both our complicity and our call to respond in healing and justice.   The critical concerns of the Sisters of Mercy will focus our awareness and our solidarity
