In August, our gardens and meadows burst with summer sweetness.  The ripening gifts of  creation’s generosity offer their abundance.  They tell a story of redemption and resilience where earth continues to pour out its richness in the face of exploitation and hardship.  Our hearts, too, know the story of transformation through the mystery of forgiveness. Forgiveness allows places of deep wounding in us to become places of healing and  freedom, strength and hope..  Love triumphs.  On this day of quiet reflection and shared wisdom, we will ponder the mystery of forgiveness.  Music, poetry, art and a simple ritual will accompany us.
