David O. Maddox II has served as an ordained minister within the Lutheran tradition for fifteen years. He has pastored two congregations, Emmanuel Lutheran Church in the Metro Detroit area, and Ascension Lutheran Church in Bucks County, PA. A native of Philadelphia, he currently serves Covenant House of Pennsylvania, a homeless shelter for youth as a Social Services Manager. He has also served Covenant House as a pastoral minister. His passion for ministry involves being tumbleweed: blowing in the breadth and direction of the Holy Spirit which necessitates discerning and embracing the Church in its myriad manifestations.
