CRANALEITH SPIRITUAL CENTER WELCOMES NEW DIRECTOR

(Philadelphia, PA – August 1, 2020) — Cranaleith Spiritual Center, a nonprofit conference and retreat center in Northeast Philadelphia has appointed Deborah Kost as its new Executive Director.

Deborah comes to Cranaleith following a highly distinguished career leading several religious educational institutions.

Deborah is taking over the leadership of Cranaleith at a time when our work is more important than ever,” says Steve Hart, chairman of Cranaleith’s Board of Directors. “We look forward to Deborah bringing her considerable leadership skills and her resonance with the Mercy mission to Cranaleith.”

“I am honored to have the opportunity to lead the Cranaleith Spiritual Center and have been privileged to witness the impact of good people giving back to the community, said Deborah Kost. “I am excited to work with an exceptional staff and Board of Directors to help Cranaleith serve others and live its mission every day. Cranaleith Spiritual Center is a “best kept secret” and I look forward to bringing the work of this essential non-profit organization to more people in our community. It is in this spirit that I begin my work at Cranaleith.

Kost attended Columbia University and also holds her K-12 Principal Certificate from Villanova University with a Concentration in Educational Policy and Leadership. She has a Master of Education from Lehigh University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona.

Deborah and her husband, Michael, live in Blue Bell, Pa. They have two adult children and one grandchild.
