Spending the Day With Archbishop Wood

Cranaleith has participated in being a distribution site for Pennsylvania Interfaith Power & Light ten million tree initiative on Thursday, April 24^th. We received 550 native saplings to tag and put them into groups for those who ordered trees. Thanks to Archbishop Wood, this was a swift and easy task. Ten students spent the day with Cranaleith, learned about what we do and got some volunteer time in. In addition to helping with the tree distribution they worked in the garden placing down cardboard and moving wood chips to help keep the weeds at bay. We are grateful for the hard work of our volunteers.
