Summer Solstice Labyrinth Walk
Athena Dugan and Rasheeda Hastings
June 20, 2025
The Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year with the greatest amount of light as the earth tilts towards the sun. It is said to be a time for renewal and abundance. Experience this cosmic dance in unison with the earth and Her cycle by turning towards your inner light.
We will ease into a contemplative morning by walking the labyrinth, with known or unknown intentions, in the hope of illuminating what no longer serves us and making space to embrace what is flourishing as we transition from spring to summer. We will also build in quiet time and reflection through journaling and light artwork to express what comes up.
Please dress in comfortable and appropriate clothing for spending time outdoors. You may also want to wear sunblock and bug spray. We will spend most of the morning outdoors, unless it is raining. In that case, we will use an indoor labyrinth.
