We were more than delighted to have had 21 students from Villa Joseph Marie High School and 2 faculty members, Molly Kenny and Wil Dennis volunteer on February 28th. They worked with our volunteers Mark Reilly, Joe Franks, Fred Trainer and staff members Jess Wszolek and Ruben Joseph to help prepare the grounds for spring by cleaning out the bioswales, picking up sticks in the garden area, and leveling the gravel in the parking lot. Everyone was impressed by their “work ethic” – they never asked to take a break, because they really wanted to complete their tasks, before it was time to go back. After the work was done, they got to eat their lunches in front of the historic house and enjoy a glimpse of the spring to come. Cranaleith is so grateful for their help and looks forward to the next time they might visit.
