Cranaleith participated in being a distribution site for Pennsylvania Interfaith Power & Light “Ten Million Tree initiative” on Thursday, April the 24th. We received 550 native saplings to tag and put them into groups for those who ordered trees. Thanks to Archbishop Wood High School, this was a swift and easy task. Ten students spent the day at Cranaleith, learned about what we do and got some volunteer time in. In addition to helping with the tree distribution they worked in the garden placing down cardboard and moving woodchips to help keep the weeds at bay. We are grateful for the hard work of our volunteers.
