Chrystyna Prokopovych has been the curator of the Ukrainian Heritage Studies Center at Manor College since 1993. As part of their outreach program, she teaches about Ukrainian Culture and folk art, especially the art of Pysanky. She learned to write Pysanky from her grandmother as a child. While in high school, after seeing a professional demonstration of Pysanky writing, she was inspired to try new designs and patterns. She enjoys sharing this art form with others.
