Christine A. Hearn

Christine A. Hearn, MA, CSD — Chris has spent most of her life as a religious educator, pastoral minister, spiritual director and retreat facilitator.  For more than forty years, she has taught elementary and secondary students in the Dioceses of Camden, Metuchen, Philadelphia and Trenton.  Chris has also been an adjunct lecturer in Religious Studies at Cabrini, Gwynedd-Mercy and LaSalle Universities.  An eight-year cancer survivor, she credits her present good health to the prayers of family, friends and the wider community.  Since 1968, Chris has delved into the writings of Thomas Merton and continues to do so, especially sitting on her deck with the trees and birds.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, she currently resides in Hillsborough, NJ.
