Program Full – Online Virtual Retreat – Wandering in the Desert: An Exodus

April 2 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
  • This event has passed.

Registrations for this event are closed, but look for another retreat to be scheduled during the Easter season.

As you shelter in place because of the coronavirus pandemic, you may feel like a retreat about travel is completely inappropriate.  However, the Israelites’ journey with God to the Promised Land offers a helpful framework for understanding the spiritual journey we are making three thousand years later.  See how God is indeed offering to be with you through this desert time and discover God’s faithful, healing and redemptive love.

This retreat will occur virtually using a teleconferencing program called Blue Jeans. This will allow all participants to listen to the talks, participate in group discussion and break out into small groups, as well as have quiet time for personal reflection.  When you register, you will receive information about how to join the retreat using a computer (with or without a camera) or a phone. If you have not done this before, you can log in to the retreat fifteen minutes early for an introductory “tour” of the virtual meeting room.
