Conversations That Matter: Focus on Women
This year, we will gather around the lived stories of women, who carry the struggle and the strength, the wisdom and the transformative grace embodied in the wounds of our time. Our first Conversation brought together the generational experience of women facing work, family, and cultural pressures, as well as the challenge of sexist attitudes and behaviors.
This second in a series this year will surface the common reality of women from a global perspective. We will address the suffering of gender, violence and the disproportionate poverty of women and children. Particular attention will be given to migrant and refugee women.
Cost includes lunch. Some scholarship assistance available.
